We deploy startup ecosystem portals, and provide research and policy advising to help dozens of governments and leading global international organizations to accelerate the growth of their startup ecosystems.
We have a small and motivated team working remotely. Most of our team members are located in Europe, therefore, this full time engagement in Europe’s time zone business hours. You will be working with our management. This job will allow you to develop critical expertise and career skills, and work with impressive clients and partners. Critical Requirements:
Please do not apply unless you fulfill all of the following:
- Must be based in Tanzania.
- A masters’ degree or equivalent in international relations, social sciences, innovation, private sector development, political economy or other relevant fields, or bachelor’s extra 2 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the field of private sector development with 2 years focused experience on innovation.
- Experience in conducting evaluations or assessment of large-scale policies and programs in private sector development, innovation, human development.
- Track record in value for money (VfM) analysis
- Experience for similar assignments.
- Possess strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to conceptualize, articulate, write and debate about innovation issues.
- Experience in implementing a range of qualitative and quantitative data collection tools and methods in project evaluation.
- Knowledge of current issues and innovation in results-oriented monitoring, including trends, principles, and methodology.
- Advanced level of proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience in the Tanzanian development space and innovation ecosystem
