Our Client, a leading General Insurance Company in Kenya are looking for a Managing Director/CEO Principal Officer. He/she will be responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the company and closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
JOB PURPOSE and KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set direction for the Company at a strategic and tactical level, and develop and take accountability for the business plan in line with the Board’s Vision.
- Define investment budgets & executing the agreed business plan to ensure that the agreed milestones are achieved.
- Identify talent & build team which will support the execution of organization’s long-term business plan.
- Ensure the business ethics outlined by the board are followed by the team to build great brand & be known for ethical, innovative business practices.
- Analyze the market practices / customer expectations and build various business processes to ensure the client expectations are met & surpassed.
- Build corporate relationships to ensure client acquisition & retention
REQUIREMENTS Job Vacancies At Rose Avenue Consulting Group (RACG)
- Master’s Degree in Strategic Management or similar from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Finance, Business Administration or related field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- AIIK Diploma/CII/CIM Diploma or any insurance related professional qualification will be an added advantage
- 15 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years’ prior experience either as MD or CEO in a reputable insurance business in the region.
- Executive Presence and ability maintain calm demeanor in high stress environments
- Ability to develop/build and manage effective executive teams
- Strategic mindset.
- Professional business acumen.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Continually drive effective results.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
