To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Account Management Director, preferably located in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary site, but other Flex location in Hungary, Netherlands, Sweden or Germany will be considered.
Reporting to the Global Account Management VP, the Global Account Management Director will be responsible for strategically develop and manage multiple customers by engaging with our internal and external clients to manage and expand current business and develop new opportunities in order to deliver customer value, drive profitability and grow revenue.
What a typical day looks like:
- Work in the Flex Industrial Solution segment;
- Analyze and understand customers’ business strategy, future product plans, expansion activities and align Flex resources where mutually beneficial;
- Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration;
- Utilize customer, competitive and market intelligence to develop and implement sales and account penetration strategies for winning new target customers;
- Shaping propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Regional VPs;
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences or business; MBA is preferred;
- Senior relevant work experience, preferably in the EMS business environment, in (technical) sales roles that focus on business-to-business, large/strategic customer segments or a record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable role;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form);
- Ability to provide strategic leadership qualities for the function and the sales team and demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and key clients;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills in (making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on topics to top management);
- Willingness to travel 50% of the working time.
